CIMCon was founded in 1999 by our president, Lynne, as Creative Information Management Concepts, Incorporated. At the time, she had been approached to design custom database software for the City of Pittsburgh’s Mayor’s office. It was a win-win, as she was getting ready to launch her own company as a custom data systems developer for the non-profit sector. Over the years, we have evolved, and revolved, with growing and developing technologies. But we have always stayed true to being experts with data-driven technologies, whether it has been data systems, digital pen & paper technology, CRMs, and now mobile apps & websites with data-heavy backends.
Lynne Lesnick, M.S.
President, CEO & Founder
Lynne is the creative force and visionary behind CIMCon Data Solutions. She is exceptional at planning and executing all facets of projects from design through implementation. Her extensive experience in data systems design and programming have helped build CIMCon into the strong app, website and data solutions provider that it is today.
While preparing to teach an undergraduate course at the University of Pittsburgh on integrating clinical and research practices in 1999, Lynne found that many of her colleagues outside the university setting were looking for ways to bridge day-to-day practices, data documentation, board and funders’ requirements, and reporting in an efficient way. In response, she drew on her experience as a researcher, program evaluator, and peer-reviewed published research author to found CIMCon. Her extensive experience in data systems design & programming, management, administration, statistical analyses and grant & research writing built CIMCon into the strong data solutions provider that it is today.
